BPOA Park and Pavilion Information |
| The centerpiece of our association is our waterfront park located on Baynard Park Road. The Park includes a beautiful new Pavilion in which we hold frequent social events, a new dock with kayak launch providing access to Baynard Creek, and open space where members can play with their family including their furry friends. There are storage racks where members can store their kayaks/paddleboards for easy access to launching from the dock. We are indeed fortunate that Charles Fraser, the founder of Sea Pines, deeded this private neighborhood park and dock to our Association in the early 1980's. This beautiful waterfront area is a tremendous asset like no other in Sea Pines, as we are the only private waterfront park available to Sea Pines residents. Come down to the park to enjoy these membership amenities. Sit marsh side or on the dock pierhead to relax and enjoy the local wildlife or in the evening to see the beautiful sunset over Calibogue Sound. The park makes a great venue to hold your special event. It is available for rental to all current members. The rental includes exclusive use of all the facilities including the pavilion and dock. For more information about renting the pavilion and to submit a reservation request, use the reservation link under the member only tab. |
Pavilion The Park Pavilion provides a comfortable venue for holding social events. There are picnic tables that provide seating for about 60 people, a butcherblock counter for serving meals, lighting to support evening events, and two unisex bathrooms. There is also additional seating outside the pavilion and a charcoal grill for cooking your favorite picnic meal. |

| Dock A new dock was completed in 2023 following the dredging of Baynard Creek. With the dredging, there is deep water right up to the dock regardless of the tidal cycle. The dock extends from shore into the middle of Baynard Creek and includes a 12'x12' pierhead with benches for sitting. A floating dock is attached at the end of the dock which includes a Kayak Launch platform. The dock is a great place to try your luck at fishing, launch your kayak or paddleboard for a paddle in Calibogue sound, or just relaxing on the benches to take in the beautiful view.
